Two special evenings where The Green Place brings you a pop up pub experience within the magical gardens of The Green Place. Sit at tables spaciously dotted around the gardens and relax as we serve you drinks from our bar, wines, cider, lager and ales including ‘Hlaf’ a pale ale from Moonface brewery and Tap, made using surplus beer supplied by The Green Place.
Live instrumental music will be provided by two great midlands acts. On Friday, Jazz Manouche will play vibrant hot club gypsy Jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France. On Saturday acoustic guitar duo ‘Highly Strung’ will play a mix of melodic original songs and some surprising instrumental covers including ‘Everybody wants to rule the world’ and ‘Take on me’. There will also be a DJ playing some classic tracks during the intervals.

Tickets limited to 100 to enable safe social distancing. No groups of over 6. Children are welcome but must remain seated in your group unless using the facilities. Well behaved dogs welcome too.
Toasties, burgers and other light snacks will be available.

Join us on our first film event of the year. A special evening of live music from Jazz Manouche followed by a selection of short films. Jazz Manouche will open the evening playing vibrant hot club gypsy Jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France. Sit back and relax with your own picnic and enjoy a drink from our bar and listen to the band as we wait for the sun to set ready for the film show. When dusk falls, enjoy a varied programme of around 1hr 45mins of short family friendly films including ‘The Red Balloon’ and ‘The Music Box’ plus other gems old and new. This promises to be a wonderful shared experience for everyone and one not to be missed. While your own food is allowed, please do not bring your own alcohol. Our caravan bar will be operating a table service of wine, craft beer, cider and hot drinks all at reasonable prices. Tickets limited to 70 to enable safe social distancing. No groups of over 6. Children are welcome but must remain seated in your group unless using the facilities. Please bring your own chairs. Well behaved dogs welcome too.
