Welcome back to all our customers as we spring into action for another fun packed year. In the cafe look forward to a revitalised menu with old favourites plus new veggie and vegan options specials. Find out more about the programme of events which include some fantastic outdoor film screenings, craft sessions, music and more.
There will also be acoustic music upstairs in what will be our new Saturday music and film cafe lounge. Here you can play records on our turntable set up and on certain days, watch family films whilst enjoying food from the cafe.
This Saturday there will be a selection of short family films from 10.30 - 12.30 and music from acoustic instrumental duo 'Highly Strung' from 1.30 - 3pm. Both free events.

In conjunction with Demontfort University Jouries Film Festival we will have this special indoor screening of the film 'Tracks'.

The true story of Hollywood's greatest comedy double act, Laurel and Hardy, is brought to the big screen for the first time. Starring Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly as the inimitable movie icons, Stan and Ollie is the heart-warming story of what would become the pair's triumphant farewell tour. With their golden era long behind them, the pair embark on a variety hall tour of Britain and Ireland. Despite the pressures of a hectic schedule, and with the support of their wives Lucille (Shirley Henderson) and Ida (Nina Arianda) - a formidable double act in their own right - the pair's love of performing, as well as for each other, endures as they secure their place in the hearts of their adoring public.

We will be using authentic Indian carved wood blocks and printing inks to decorate fabric tote bags.
Price for the 2.5 hour workshop includes tuition and tote bag. Paints and a large selection of printing blocks are provided for use during the workshop.
The workshop will be held in the yurt in the leafy grounds of The Green Place.
Suitable for all ages, but children under 12 will need supervision.
The first of our new second Saturday of the month family film clubs. We will be showing a selection of short films including seldom seen classic serials, looney tunes and recent Pixar classics. Squash and popcorn provided.

£4 per person.(adults are welcome to accompany children and watch films or take the opportunity to have a coffee and cake in the cafe, but would need to remain on site.)
Your gut is a well calibrated system of bacteria also called flora - that helps keep your whole body healthy. Disturbing this balance can have an impact on your wellbeing, however, understanding how it works and looking after your gut means it will look after you. This workshop will show you how fermentation of certain foods work and how to make a wide range of fermented foods. Kombucha, Kefir, Kimchi, sauerkraut.
Suitable for age 11+ (children will require adult supervision)
Please bring with you a 2 x large coffee size glass jar and also 1x small glass jar.
