Welcome Back - Pod booking now available.

As we adjust to the new normal, during August, we will be trialling a reduced service in order to safely manage visitor numbers.

This will mean a new way of visiting us for the time being.

From Saturday 1st August, we will be opening Fridays and Saturdays only from 10am – 5pm for mainly bookings (in covered outdoor pods) but with some limited walk up uncovered seating.

The café will reopen with a reduced menu and space to sit outside in the garden only. The inside café space will not be open to the public as it has been reconfigured to allow our staff to work safely and give more space to prepare the food and drink orders.

We have now created 9 outdoor ‘pods’ from recycled materials, each with a unique look and feel. You will be able to see photos of these and available times on our booking site. You will be able to book these for up to 1hr 45mins, which will allow us a further 15 minutes to sanitise them fully between customers.

There is a non refundable deposit required for each booking which will be deducted from your food bill. Sorry but no change will be given if you do not spend all the deposit. Think of it as a minimum spend.

There will be a basic menu to start with eg. 4 toastie options, sausage sandwich, burger, cakes, hot and cold drinks plus 2 kids meal versions. There will be a vegan and gluten free option. We will be using compostable menus, plates, cups for now but with real cutlery! Please note ‘walk ups’ may only be able to choose from the drinks and cakes menu.

For the enjoyment and comfort of all our guests, please maintain a 2m social distance from others outside your ‘bubble’ and wash/sanitise your hands frequently.

Guests will be able to use the toilet to the rear of the building which will be cleaned regularly. Spray and wiping cloth will be also available for guests to sanitise before using.

Please use the hand gel dispensers at the gate, order point and collection point. As we are operating in an outdoor space face masks are not required by law but you are welcome to wear one if you wish.

Parents must be responsible for their children and keep them away from other guests. The tree house and book hut can be entered at your own risk.
